Please don't sushi us: part 2.

Sushi: Spicy Salmon Roll - $6.50
Pizza Hut: Personal Pan Cheese Pizza - $3.57

-Sushi Pizza-

What's better than sushi? Why, doing horrible things with said sushi. My abomination was putting the spicy salmon roll on top of the cheese pizza. I tried cutting the sushi in half in order to make it more edible, but that just made a mess. I took the first bite and quickly said, "Nope." and tried my best not to spit it out. Before taking bite 2, I drowned the sushi in soy sauce. How was it? Infinitely better! For no explainable reason, the soy sauce made the sushi pizza rather tasty (comparatively..).

Would I eat it again? Yes! Would I pay for it? Um.... no. The taste of the combination is very hard to explain. Maybe changing the sushi type would help the taste, but I can't think how. Try it if you've got money burning a hole in your pocket, but I would not recommend it.

Verdict: Thumbs down. Once again, if you're feeling adventurous go ahead and try it. If you want something good then don't.

Josh's Opinion: No, I would just say no to this whole experiment. The pizza and sushi combined aren't very good. I think it was the Mozzarella. I would agree with Kevin, in not recommending this.

Sushi blinded me with science: part 1

Welcome once again to another SMC. Today we decided to be a little dangerous. As the title implies, we used sushi with some other fast food dishes. My sushi of choice was the spicy tuna roll, and I chose to combine it with the Krystal's chili cheese pup. Sound disgusting? Let's find out.

Items:

Spicy Tuna Roll: $6.50
Krystal Chili Cheese Pup Combo: $5.89

The combination was kind of simple. As you can see I just put the sushi onto the hot dog and dug in. I thought it would be bad, but it was surprisingly delightful. The chili, cheese, and mustard were a good combination with the rice, fish, and sriracha sauce. The sushi added a kind of sweet and spice to the pup. That was delightful. The only complaint is that the fish was overpowered in the end by the other flavors. Overall, I would say try it, and see what comes out later.

Verdict: Good, definitely worth a try. Kind of expensive though.

Kevin's Opinion: Thumb a bit up. The fish was overpowered by the hotdog. This combining left me with the urge to try chili sushi.
