Kevin here doing a quick solo post. I was unsatisfied with how the leftover cookies came out last Monday, so I took the leftover batter and made a change to how we laid them out. First I rolled the cookie into a circle and pushed anything that melted into the center of the dough instead of just laying them out. This worked really well with only a tiny bit of leakage, but they looked and tasted better than the first batch. I still say this is a fun experiment to do with friends, and if it turns out badly that's fun too. Just make a few changes, try again, and enjoy the experience.
See! Now, don't those look tasty? Because they were. I'd like to mess around with these and actually make a new well thought flavor as well as letting chaos reign. If anyone out there has any good cookie combining recipes feel free to drop them in the comments. We'd love to try them out.
